Manna meets on the corner of 9th and Central @ 10:00 AM

Pastor Dave will be teaching in 1 Corinthians 12. Eddie and the New Diolokos will be leading the singing/worship. Also, don’t forget that Manna will be in Rosa Parks Green Sunday night from 6:00 PM to 10:00ish. If you haven’t yet attended Sunday night Manna in the park, you have this week and next to join us. Lots of hot dogs and community. See you there.  Bring your friends.

What is the Point of the Lord’s Supper?

Why do Christians take it?  Is there a right and wrong way to do it?  Who should and shouldn’t take it?

Pastor Greg here… this week I’ll continue teaching from 1 Corinthians 11 and the topic will be the Lord’s Supper.  The Corinthian church was apparently handling the Lord’s Supper badly during its worship meetings and Paul said that it was having serious consequences for their lives and their life together.  Are we doing any better today?  Come Sunday morning we’ll find out together.

We will take the Lord’s Supper together Sunday morning.  We will attempt to do so appropriately (no humor intended).

And no matter how much Eddie teases me I will NOT wear a helmet to teach.  I don’t need to because I am a professional.  You, however, should not attempt this at home.

Sunday In The Park

Manna will be meeting every Sunday night at 6:00 PM in Rosa Parks Green during the month of July. Bring something to grill and a dish to pass and your in. (Your probably in without) The tribe from Healing Path will be joining us as well this week. (Guitars will be everywhere) Join us for some fun and church in public. Bring some friends.

Bicycle Awareness Sunday At Manna

Pastor Greg will be teaching/moderating in !st Corithians 11. He will also be speaking as to how a grown man can fall off his bike? Eddie and The Diolokos will be leading the singing/worship. Communion will also be served. Bring your bike helmets and enjoy a cup of coffee with us this Sunday. See you there.
