Make a Difference with the New Barrel Inside the Front Door

Posted by Greg

The hunger that exists in may parts of the world also exists here in Holland.  So that we can share our bounty with those in need a barrel has be placed inside the front door at Manna.  If just half of us bring one item each week, we can make a big difference in many peoples lives.  Needed items include canned goods (fruit, vegetables, spaghetti, other pasta peanut butter), ramien noodles, rice, sugar, powdered milk, laundry soap, children’s size 4 and 5 diapers, toilet paper, feminine products and cleaning supplies.  Please help us share God’s goodness here in this community.

Any questions?  Talk to Bob Williams.

Walk Thru History Class this Wednesday Night: Islam

Posted by Greg

Hey everyone: even if you haven’t been to a Walk Thru History class session before, be sure to come out to this one.  If you’ve ever wondered about where Islam came from, the story of how it interacted with Europe and the West and how it became what it is today, be sure to come this Wednesday night at 7:00 PM to the Green Building.

As prep you can go read this earlier story on Walk Thru History: What do Tours, Rome and Vienna All Have in Common?

Linda will provide food.  Of some sort.  But there will be food, and I know how much you all like that.  Me too, although it’s awkward when I eat and talk at the same time.  Doesn’t stop me, just makes it awkward.  See you Wednesday!

Hey - we don't hold much on formality at manna?- if you want to contribute something to this weblog there's no committee to work with. Just register (or log in if you already have) and use the Control Panel to speak your piece. Newbie? Read the tutorial.
