Acts 5: 12-16

Initially this seems like a “move along, not much to see here” kind of passage. But why were they meeting on the porch rather than inside the temple?

I think they “hung out” there because it was less formal than inside the temple. It was probably a less intimidating place for people who didn’t feel worthy to go inside. Ya think maybe they did it on purpose? And maybe we should take the hint?
