Shameless Use of Guilt to Motivate Others
Yes, I know. It’s all about grace. But, for just a moment, I’m going to fall back on the old tried and true method for filling volunteer spots in church; guilt! Actually, no guilt is necessary if you paid any attention last Sunday, and realize that someone out there, or several someone’s, has the spiritual gifts needed to fill a newly created volunteer position; NURSERY SCHEDULE COORDINATOR. That’s right, we are going to have a nursery. Beginning ASAP, we’d like to begin putting together a schedule of people to supervise the youngin’s in the nursery. WE’D LIKE EVERYONE IN CHURCH TO HELP STAFF THE NURSERY, NOT JUST PEOPLE WITH KIDS, and all we are asking for is somone to put together a list of volunteers and then take some time to see that whoever signs up actually shows up. Interested? If so, please let Diane Guerrin know. And in case you are debating whether or not to volunteer, just think of all the poor little urchins you are letting down by NOT signing up.
