In my teaching this weekend I’m warning everyone against ever hiring anyone like me. Evah.
Because I would never work for a place that would hire someone like me.
Actually, we’ve been seeing how the Corinthian church kept looking for shortcuts. One of them was to hire people to do ministry for them. In chapter 4 Paul warns about the Perils of the Professional Pastor and the nature of what true church leadership is all about. Hopefully, as we unpack this I won’t be destroying any hope for job security…
