Tonight’s Book Club Meeting

If you missed tonight’s meeting at B&N, you missed a great discussion!  (It went something like: “Huh! No one’s here.” “Did we miss an email?")

Anyhoo, if there are no objections, I’ve got a book to suggest for our next read.  Life of Pi, by Yann Martel. Amazon Listing

2. Hey, in regards to the book I suggested: it was on the Herrick Library’s reading list this past August and the librarian I spoke with said it was an interesting read.

   I must confess that the first 26 chapters (short chapters) have been “okay” for me, but I am still awaiting the events spoken about on the book’s back cover description. 

   I’m saying this to encourage you all to not give up after the first little bit. If nothing else, you’ll learn a bit about running a zoo.  :)
