Manna Behind Budget for December

A Message from the Manna Board:
Because we had two “snow Sundays” in December—and thus missed two weeks of offerings—Manna is running seriously behind budget for the month of December. This week our general fund is $500 short of what we need to pay our mortgage by Friday and other basic obligations. Our staff is paid at the end of each month, and with a payroll of $3,100 we need to receive close to $4,000 this weekend to pay the mortgage and staff.
We are grateful that the rate of giving hasn’t gone down (despite the financial hardships some in our community are suffering), but because of the weather cancellations we have had only one Sunday offering in December. We respectfully ask that the Manna Community help us to make up for those lost Sundays at the services tonight (Christmas Eve) and this weekend.
